The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No.5409/NHNN-TTGSNH on July 11, 2017 to allow the LienViet Post Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (LienViet Post Bank or LPB) to open 5 new branches.
Accordingly, the SBV Governor permitted LPB to open 5 branches in the suburban area of Hanoi and Hochiminh City, specifically:
LienViet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank – Thuong Tin Branch; Abbreviation: LienVietPostBank Thuong Tin; Address: Tia Market, To Hieu ward, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi.
LienViet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank – Xuan Mai Branch; Abbreviation: LienVietPostBank Xuan Mai; Address: Tan Binh area, Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district, Hanoi.
LienViet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank – Thanh Tri Branch; Abbreviation: LienVietPostBank Thanh Tri; Address: Dong My ward, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi.
LienViet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank – Hoc Mon Branch; Abbreviation: LienVietPostBank Hoc Mon; Address: No. 65/12A, Dan Thang 1, Tan Thoi Nhi ward, Hoc Mon district, Hochiminh City.
LienViet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank – Cu Chi Branch; Abbreviation: LienVietPostBank Cu Chi; Address: Block 8, Cu Chi town, Hochiminh City.
LPB is responsible for implementing procedures for inaugurating, registering and publicizing its newly established branches in line with Circular No.21/2013/TT-NHNN dated September 9, 2013 on operational network of commercial banks and the other applicable legal texts.
At the same time, the LPB is required to inaugurate the above – mentioned branches within 12 months from the date of signing. The Document will cease to be effective in case that the opening of these branches is not completed as scheduled.
