The Governor of State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No.6561/NHNN-TTGSNH on August 17th, 2017 to allow Saigon Joint - Stock Commercial Bank (SCB) to open new transaction offices.
Accordingly, the SBV Governor allowed SCB to establish 9 new transaction offices, specifically:
SCB Hai Duong branch – Tran Hung Dao transaction office, address: No.88 Tran Hung Dao, Tran Hung Dao ward, Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province.
SCB Gia Lai branch – Bien Ho transaction office, address: No.556 Le Dai Hanh street, block 4, Yen The ward, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.
SCB Nghe An branch, Hung Dung transaction, address: No.80 Nguyen Phong Sac street, Hung Dung ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province.
SCB Dong Nai branch, Gia Kiem transaction, address: Bac Son block, Quang Trung ward, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province.
SCB Kien Giang branch, Rach Soi transaction office, address: Rach Soi commercial center, Mai Thi Hong Hanh street, Rach Soi ward, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang province.
SCB Bac Ninh branch, Tu Son transaction office, address: Tran Phu street, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.
SCB Ba Ria Vung Tau branch, Nguyen Thai Hoc transaction office, address: No.5K1 Nguyen Thai Hoc street, ward 7, Vung Tau city, Ba Ria Vung Tau province.
SCB Binh Duong branch, Thuan An transaction office, address: No.572A Nguyen Trai street, Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An town, Binh Duong province.
SCB Vinh Long branch, Tra On transaction office, address: Tra On town, Tra On district, Vinh Long province.
SCB is responsible for: (i) Ensuring the above-mentioned transaction offices to operate in agricultural, rural and remote areas (including the case of changing headquarters of these transaction offices); (ii) Implementing procedures for inaugurating, registering and publicizing its newly established transaction offices in line with Circular No.21/2013/TT-NHNN.
The SCB is required to inaugurate the above – mentioned transaction offices within 12 months from the date of signing Document No.6561/NHNN-TTGSNH. The Document will cease to be effective in case that the opening of these transaction offices are not completed as scheduled.
