Deputy Governor Nguyen Kim Anh speaks at the Conference
Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy Governor Nguyen Kim Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the enormous efforts of the CG1 Contract Implementation Group of the CIC as well as the dedication and professionalism of the staff from the consortium contractor of FPT IS and Singaporean DP Credit Bureau Pte. Ltd. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the WB specialists for assisting the SBV in the implementation of FSMIMS Project in general and the CG1 contract in particular.
The CG1 contract, which is a part of the SBV’s FSMIMS Project, aims at strengthening the operational capability for the CIC on information technology platforms and professional protocols. The new system allows the CIC to manage closely and decentralize to different groups of users, including SBV entities, SBV municipal and provincial branches, more than 1,200 financial institutions, over 4,000 branches of credit institutions and more than 40,000 user accounts. The system is also expected to allow millions of borrowers to access and check their personal information in the future.
After 9 months of operation, the system has been running stably, meeting the users’ needs. With the successful implementation of the CG1 and the FSMIMS Project, CIC has acquired a modern and relatively complete information system to become an important pillar for the country’s financial infrastructure system.
