On March 19th, 2019, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department.
The ceremony was attended by SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Thi Hong, representatives from the Central Bank Party Committee, the Human Resources Department, and all of the officials of the International Cooperation Department (ICD).
At the ceremony, the representative from the Human Resources Department announced the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision No. 468/QD-NHNN dated March 19th, 2019 on the appointment of Mrs. Khuong Thanh Ha - Head of the ICD’s Division Bilateral Cooperation - to the position of Deputy Director General of the ICD, starting from March 19th, 2019. Mrs. Khuong Thanh Ha's term of office is 5 years from the date of appointment.

On behalf of the SBV Governor, Deputy Governor Nguyen Thi Hong presented the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision and congratulated Mrs. Khuong Thanh Ha on her new position. Deputy Governor Nguyen Thi Hong expressed her hope and belief that in her new position, Mrs. Ha would continue to develop her capabilities, wisdom, experience, and the sense of responsibility; especially she would work together with the officials of the International Cooperation Department in solidarity, proactiveness and creativity to achieve numerous successes in the coming time.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mrs. Khuong Thanh Ha expressed her deep gratitude to the Party Committee and the SBV's Board of Management for entrusting her with the new responsibility. In particular, Mrs. Khuong Thanh Ha also thanked the senior officials who have always been mentoring, facilitating and providing opportunities for young officials to fully develop and accomplish their assigned tasks. In addition, Mrs. Ha promised to put all of her capabilities, intelligence and enthusiasm in working along with the other officials of the International Cooperation Department, in order to fulfill the assigned tasks, contributing positively to the development of the banking industry.
