On February 22, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 187/QD-NHNN announcing a number of amendments, supplementations, replacements of administrative procedures regarding the foreign exchange operations, which are performed at the Single Window under the SBV’s jurisdiction.
The amended, supplemented, and replaced administrative procedures, which are related to the foreign exchange operations as stipulated in Decree 121/2021/ND-CP dated December 27, 2021 of the Government, are to be performed at the Single Window under the SBV’s jurisdiction.
Accordingly, the amended and supplemented administrative procedures under the SBV’s jurisdiction are: the procedures for the issuance of licenses for the collections and expenditures in foreign currencies and other foreign exchange operations (applicable to businesses engaged in prize-winning electronic games); the procedures for transferring ownership of a license for the collections and expenditures in foreign currencies and other foreign exchange operations (applicable to businesses engaged in prize-winning electronic games);
The replaced administrative procedures under the SBV’s jurisdiction are: the procedures for the re-issuance of licenses for the collections and expenditures in foreign currencies and other foreign exchange operations (applicable to businesses engaged in prize-winning electronic games); the procedures for amending a license for the collections and expenditures in foreign currencies and other foreign exchange operations (applicable to businesses engaged in prize-winning electronic games); the procedures for the extension of a license for the collections and expenditures in foreign currencies and other foreign exchange operations (applicable to businesses engaged in prize-winning electronic games).
This Decision takes effect from March 15, 2022 and shall abolish the administrative procedures under the following codes: 1.000216; 1.000208; 1.000203; 1.000823, which were previously announced in Decision No. 2153/QD-NHNN dated October 13, 2017.
