Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No. 5291/NHNN-TTGSNH on July 15, 2016 to allow National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) to establish 4 branches and 2 transaction offices.
Accordingly, NCB was allowed by the Governor to establish 4 branches on the basis of upgrading 4 adjacent -transaction offices of NCB. More details of 4 new branches are as follows:
Dong Thap branch (on the basis of upgrading adjacent -transaction office in Dong Thap) at the address: No.41-43 Ly Thuong Kiet street, Commune 2, Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province;
Hau Giang branch (on the basis of upgrading adjacent -transaction office in Hau Giang) at the address: No.1099 Hung Vuong street, Nga Bay commune, Nga Bay town, Hau Giang province;
Thai Binh branch (on the basis of upgrading adjacent -transaction office in Thai Binh) at the address: No.458 Ly Bon street, De Tham commune, Thai Binh city, Thai Binh province;
Quang Ninh branch (on the basis of upgrading adjacent transaction office in Quang Ninh) at the address: 25/4 street, Block 41, Zone 3, Bach Dang commune, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.
2 new transaction offices include: Phuong Lien transaction office (on the basis of upgrading Credit Fund No.1 under Ha Noi branch) at the address: No.198 Xa Dan street, Phuong Lien commune, Dong Da district, Hanoi city; and Nguyen Hue transaction office (on the basis of upgrading Nguyen Hue Credit Fund under Vinh Long branch) at the address: No.132 Nguyen Hue street, Commune 2, Vinh Long city, Vinh Long province.
The SBV requires NCB to be responsible for complying with laws to terminate operations of above adjacent transaction offices; reporting to SBV branches which manage branches and adjacent transaction offices on terminating operations of adjacent transaction offices; applying the procedures of launching, registering, publishing the approved branches and transaction offices in accordance with Circular No.21/2013/TT-NHNN dated 9th September, 2013 issued by SBV Governor on network of Commercial Banks and relevant laws.
NCB has to launch new above branches and transaction offices within 12 months from the date of signing. After this deadline, the approved documents of the SBV cease to be effective.
