The 14th National Assembly on July 28 adopted a Resolution ratifying the proposal of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on appointing Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other Cabinet members for the tenure 2016-2021. Governor Le Minh Hung of the State Bank of Vietnam has been approved by the legislators with a high voting ratio of 93.93%.
The following is the election results:
(1) 469/487 deputies (94.94% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Truong Hoa Binh as Deputy Prime Minister.
(2) 483/488 deputies (97.77% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Pham Binh Minh as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
(3) 476/488 deputies (96.36% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Poliburo member Vuong Dinh Hue as Deputy Prime Minister.
(4) 473/488 deputies (95.75% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Vu Duc Dam as Deputy Prime Minister.
(5) 445/488 deputies (90.08% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Trinh Dinh Dung as Deputy Prime Minister.
