Press Release on issuance of Circular No.29/2015/TT-NHNN
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Circular No. 29/2015/TT-NHNN on December 22 to revise several SBV’s legal texts on stipulating dossiers submission with notarized copies.
The Circular aims at revising SBV’s several regulations of legal texts stipulating dossiers submission with notarized copies as follows: “institutions and individuals are allowed to submit dossiers as copies granted from the original documents or notarized copies or copies attached original documents for checking” in order to meet the requirement as stipulated in Instruction No.17/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister dated June 20, 2014 and in accordance with Article 6 of Decree No.23/2015/ND-CP dated February 16, 2015 on granting copies from the original book, notarized copies from original documents, notarizing signature and contract. The formulation of the Circular aims at reducing requirements of notarizing documents, cost and time for document preparation.
The Circular including 21 articles revising regulations of 20 SBV’s legal texts will take effect from February 8, 2016 and replaces several regulations of Circular No.24/2011/TT-NHNN dated August 31, 2011 on simplifying administrative procedures in the field of establishing and banking operations in accordance with Government’s resolutions on simplifying administrative procedures under the SBV’s jurisdiction and Circular No.25/2011/TT-NHNN dated August 31, 2011 on simplifying administrative procedures in the forex field.
