The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued a Document allowing Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) to increase its charter capital to VND 40,658 billion by the means of issuing additional shares to pay dividends.
Specifically, the SBV has approved of the SHB's request to issue nearly 403 million shares to pay dividends for 2023 at the rate of 11%, meaning a shareholder with 100 shares will receive 11 additional shares.
The capital resources for the additional share issuance to pay dividends come from the undistributed after-tax profits of 2023, after having set aside fully the provisioning funds in compliance with the provisions of laws, and the remaining undistributed profits of the previous years according to the audited financial report as of December 31, 2023.
After completing the issuance of the additional shares, the SHB’s charter capital is expected to increase by nearly VND 4,029 billion, from VND 36,630 billion to VND 40,658 billion.
