On September 30, 2026, at the headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Deputy Governor Pham Quang Dzung held a meeting with Mr. Okada Hiroshi, Country Director for Vietnam at the Financial Services Agency of Japan (FSA), during the FSA delegation’s working visit to Vietnam.

At the meeting, Deputy Governor Pham Quang Dzung highly valued the close cooperation between the two agencies. He noted that, over the past 15 years, the FSA has supported the SBV through information exchange, experience sharing, and training programs, providing opportunities for SBV officials engaged in banking inspection and supervision to enhance their professional knowledge and expertise.
The Deputy Governor expressed his hope that the FSA would continue to provide technical assistance and training support to the SBV, thereby contributing to strengthening the professional capacity of SBV officials and enhancing the effectiveness of banking inspection and supervision.

For his part, Mr. Okada Hiroshi expressed his desire to maintain and further deepen cooperation with the SBV, particularly in information exchange and experience sharing in areas of mutual interest, thereby contributing to strengthening banking cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
