On August 22, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1453/QD-NHNN announcing a number of amendments, supplementations, replacements and abolishments of administrative procedures, which are performed at the Single Window under the SBV’s jurisdiction, in the field of foreign exchange operations.
Accordingly, by means of this Decision the SBV has announced a number of amendments, supplementations, replacements and abolishments of administrative procedures, which are performed at the Single Window under the SBV’s jurisdiction, in the field of foreign exchange operations as stipulated in Circular No. 10/2022/TT-NHNN dated July 29, 2022.
The amended and supplemented administrative procedures under the SBV’s jurisdiction are: the procedures for registering a change to an international corporate bond issuance, which is not guaranteed by the Government.
The replaced administrative procedures under the SBV’s jurisdiction are: (i) The administrative procedures to be replaced: The procedures for certifying the limits for an international bond issuance for state-owned commercial banks; The procedures for certifying the limits for an international bond issuance for corporates other than state-owned commercial banks; The procedures for registering an international corporate bond issuance that is not guaranteed by the Government; (ii) The administrative procedures to replace the old ones: The procedures for registering an international corporate bond issuance that is not guaranteed by the Government.
The administrative procedures to be abolished under the SBV’s jurisdiction are: The procedures for appraising the plan for an international bond issuance of a state-owned commercial bank.
This Decision takes effect from September 15, 2022, while its regulations on how to apply online shall take effect from January 01, 2023. This Decision shall abolish and amend the substances of the administrative procedures under the following codes: 1.001795; 1.001829; 1.000174; 1.001207; 1.001774; which were previously announced in Decision No. 1762/QD-NHNN dated September 01, 2015.
