On May 6, 2025, at its head office, Vietnam Asset Management Company (VAMC), held a Ceremony to announce the SBV Governor’s Decision on the appointment of Mr. Dang Dinh Thich as Acting General Director of VAMC.

The Ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), representatives from the SBV’s Party Committee, the SBV Human Resource Department, as well as officials and staff of VAMC.
Under the authorization of the SBV Governor, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung handed over the SBV Governor’s Decision appointing Mr. Dang Dinh Thich as Acting General Director of VAMC.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung congratulated Mr. Dang Dinh Thich on his appointment, which reflected the recognition and the trust of the Standing Board of the SBV Party Committee and the SBV’s Board of Management for Mr. Thich’s qualities. The SBV Deputy Governor also emphasized that the leaders of VAMC are not only responsible for ensuring the Company’s transparent, effective operations and development, but also for building a stable financial foundation to retain a high-quality workforce that supports the Company’s sustainable development strategy. This is a heavy responsibility that requires a strong sense of responsibility and flexible management capabilities.
The Deputy Governor expressed his hope that with the consensus and solidarity of the officials and staff of VAMC, along with his own qualities and working experience, Mr. Dang Dinh Thich would successfully accomplish all political and professional tasks, actively contributing to the development of VAMC in particular and the banking sector in general in the new era.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Dang Dinh Thich expressed his great honor and deep gratitude to the SBV’s Party Committee and the SBV’s Board of Management for their trust. Mr. Thich promised to do his best, along with all of the officials and staff of VAMC, to successfully accomplish all of the assigned tasks.
Also at the Ceremony, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung presented flowers to and congratulated Mr. Doan Van Thang, Member in charge of VAMC’s Board of Members, for having successfully accomplished his former duties as General Director of VAMC in the previous time.

Mr. Doan Van Thang shared his memories of working at VAMC since 2016, overcoming many difficult periods, helping to assert VAMC’s position and role in the banking sector. He hoped that Acting General Director Dang Dinh Thich would continue to promote VAMC’s successful legacies and build a VAMC team to become stronger, achieving more breakthrough successes in the future.
