On September 05, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Deputy Director General of the Information Technology Department under the SBV.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Tien Dzung, SBV Deputy Governor, together with representatives of the Central Bank Party Committee, the Organization and Personnel Department, as well as the Board of Management and the key officials of the Information Technology Department.
At the ceremony, Mr. Dang Duy Cuong, Deputy Director General of the Organization and Personnel Department, announced Decision No. 1499/QD-NHNN dated August 31, 2022 of the SBV Governor appointing Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang as Deputy Director General of the Information Technology Department under the SBV, starting from September 1, 2022. Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang was previously Head of the Division of Management and Operation of Information Systems, the Information Technology Department under the SBV. His office tenure is five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment.

On behalf of the SBV Governor, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung handed over the Appointment Decision to and congratulated Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang on his new appointment, which reflected the trust of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee as well as the SBV’s Board of Management for Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang’s qualities. The SBV Deputy Governor assessed that, the Information Technology Department currently has a heavy workload; the Department needs to accomplish multiple tasks at the same time, such as: operating the SBV’s information technology system, implementing the Government’s IT schemes, ensuring security and safety, coordinating with the relevant agencies such as the Ministry of Public Security, etc. The SBV Deputy Governor expressed his wishes and beliefs that, on the new position, Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang would promote the spirit of solidarity, join hands with the other leaders as well as all of the officers and staff of the Information Technology Department to promote the consensus and joint efforts, focusing on directing the Department’s work, following closely the instructions of the SBV’s leadership in implementing and accomplishing the assigned tasks, promoting the good traditions of the Information Technology Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Chinh Quang expressed his deep gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, the SBV’s Board of Management, and all of the officers and staff of the Information Technology Department for their trust. He affirmed that he would never stop striving and would do his best with the highest sense of responsibility, with high enthusiasm and his best efforts, together with the other leaders, officers and staff of the Information Technology Department to promote the solidarity and to put the best efforts into accomplishing the assigned tasks, maintaining and promoting the good traditions of the Information Technology Department.
