On July 10, 2026, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce and present the SBV Governor’s Decision appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra Vi as Deputy Director General of the SBV International Cooperation Department. SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh attended the ceremony and presented the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra Vi.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the SBV Party Committee, the Organization and Personnel Department, and officials and staff of the International Cooperation Department.
At the ceremony, a representative of the Organization and Personnel Department announced the SBV Governor’s Decision No.1408/QD-NHNN, dated June 30, 2026, appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra Vi as Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department. Her office term is five years, starting from the date of the appointment.

Presenting the Appointment Decision to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra Vi, Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh congratulated her on her appointment and affirmed that it reflected the recognition and trust of the SBV Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV Party Committee in her professional competence, leadership capacity, and dedication. He expressed his confidence that, in her new position, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra Vi would continue to demonstrate her expertise, experience, and strong sense of responsibility, and, together with the officials and staff of the International Cooperation Department, successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.
The Deputy Governor also called on the officials and staff of the International Cooperation Department to continue fostering solidarity, further improving the quality and effectiveness of policy advisory work, strengthening delegation and accountability, and encouraging greater proactiveness and creativity in fulfilling the Department’s assigned responsibilities.

In her remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra Vi expressed her sincere gratitude to the SBV Board of Management for their trust placed in her. She affirmed that she would devote her utmost efforts and uphold the highest sense of responsibility, together with the officials and staff of the International Cooperation Department, to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.
