On November 1, 2024, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Thanh Hoa provincial branch organized a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Deputy Director of the SBV – Thanh Hoa provincial branch to Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh.

Accordingly, at Decision No. 2328/QD-NHNN dated October 21, 2024, Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh has been appointed as Deputy Director of the SBV – Thanh Hoa provincial branch, starting from November 1, 2024. Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh was previously Deputy Director of the BIDV-Bim Son branch. His term of office is five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment.
As authorized by the SBV Governor, Mr. Tong Van Anh, Director of the SBV – Thanh Hoa provincial branch, handed over the Appointment Decision to and congratulated Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh on his new position. The Director of the SBV –Thanh Hoa provincial branch expressed his beliefs that Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh would continue to develop his capabilities, wisdom, experience, and the sense of responsibility to accomplish the assigned tasks in the newly appointed position.
In his statement of gratitude, Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh expressed his deep gratitude to the SBV’s Board of Management and the Central Bank Party Committee for their trust. He affirmed that he would try his best with the highest sense of responsibility, together with all of the officials of the SBV Thanh Hoa branch, to successfully accomplish the assigned tasks, contributing positively to the achievements of the entire banking system.
