On February 09, 2023, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Yen Bai Provincial Branch organized a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Deputy Director of the SBV – Yen Bai Provincial Branch.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Dat, Director of the SBV – Yen Bai Provincial Branch, hands over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision to Mr. Dinh Trong Giang.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Giang A Tong, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; together with leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation in Yen Bai, and the Provincial People's Council, etc.
At Decision No. 81/QD-NHNN dated January 16, 2023 of the SBV Governor, Mr. Dinh Trong Giang has been appointed as Deputy Director of the SBV – Yen Bai Provincial Branch, starting from January 16, 2023. Mr. Dinh Trong Giang was previously Chief Inspector of the SBV – Yen Bai Provincial Branch. His office tenure is five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment.
Under the authorization of the SBV Governor, Mr. Nguyen Quang Dat, Director of the SBV – Yen Bai Provincial Branch, handed over the Decision to and congratulated Mr. Dinh Trong Giang on his new position. He also expressed his wishes that, on the new position, Mr. Dinh Trong Giang would continue to promote his capacity, intelligence, experience; further train his political will; promote the solidarity among the SBV – Yen Bai Provincial Branch; give effective advice to the leadership, in order to perform successfully the functions of State management in the field of currency and banking operations in the province, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
In his speech, Mr. Dinh Trong Giang expressed his deep gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, the SBV’s Board of Management, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province, as well as the leaders and all of the officers and staff of the SBV - Yen Bai Provincial Branch for their trust. He affirmed that he would continue to put his best efforts, together with all of the officers, staff and employees of the SBV - Yen Bai Provincial Branch as well as the entire banking sector in the province, into accomplishing the assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the banking sector in general and the provincial socio-economic development.
