SBV announces Appointment Decision of Director of SBV – Hai Phong Municipal Branch

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, First Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee, Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee; Mr. Dao Duc Trong, Head of the Organization Commission of Hai Phong City Party Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Director General of the SBV Office; Mrs. Le Thi Thuy Sen, Director General of the SBV Communication Department; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director General of the Organization and Personnel Department; together with the leaders and the staff of the SBV – Hai Phong Municipal Branch, as well as representatives from the credit institutions present in Hai Phong City.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director General of the SBV Organization and Personnel Department, announced the SBV Governor’s Decision appointing Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dzung as Director of the SBV – Hai Phong Municipal Branch, starting from March 16, 2023. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dzung was previously Deputy Director in charge of the SBV – Hai Phong Municipal Branch. Her office tenure is five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment.

At the ceremony, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong handed over the Decision to and congratulated Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dzung on her new position, which reflected the trust of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee and the SBV’s Board of Management. She expressed her wishes and beliefs that, on the new position, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dzung, with her qualification and long-term experience, together with all of the officials and staff of the SBV – Hai Phong Municipal Branch, would promote the solidarity within the SBV Municipal Branch to accomplish the assigned tasks.

The SBV Governor also requested the SBV - Hai Phong Municipal Branch to put the best efforts and implement effectively Directive No. 01/CT-NHNN on the key tasks of the banking sector in 2023; focus on promoting the digital transformation in the banking operations; promote the inspection and supervision, promptly detect and prevent risks in the banking system; find out in a timely manner the issues related to the mechanisms, policies, as well as the difficulties, obstacles during the implementation process; strengthen bank – enterprise connection activities through appropriate forms in order to promptly remove all difficulties for the enterprises and the people in their access to the preferential loans in accordance with the Government's policies and regulations, contributing to controlling the inflation, maintaining the macroeconomic stability, and supporting the economic growth.

In her speech, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dzung expressed her deep gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee and the SBV’s Board of Management for their trust. She affirmed that she would always put all of her capacity, intelligence, enthusiasm and experience into her work, together with all of the officials and staff of the SBV – Hai Phong Municipal Branch, to promote the spirit of solidarity within the Branch and to fulfill successfully the role of managing the operations of the banking industry in the City, contributing to the successful implementation of the monetary policies of the SBV as well as to the socio-economic development of Hai Phong City.
