On August 10, 2022, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce and hand over the Appointment Decisions of Chief and Deputy Chief of the Office of the SBV Party Personnel Board. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dao Minh Tu, Deputy Secretary of the SBV Party Personnel Board, SBV Deputy Governor; Mr. Dang Van Tuyen, member of the SBV Party Personnel Board, Director General of the Human Resource Department; Mr. Can Quoc Hung, First Deputy Head of the Communication and Education Board of the Central Bank Party Committee, as well as the key officials of the Human Resource Department and the SBV Office.

On May 6, 2022, the SBV Governor cum Secretary of the SBV Party Personnel Board issued Decision No. 04/QD-BCSĐ on the establishment of the Office of the SBV Party Personnel Board, and Decision No. 05/QD-BCSD on the mandate, functions, tasks and organizational structure of the Office of the SBV Party Personnel Board.
At the ceremony, the representative of the Human Resource Department announced Decision No. 08/QD-BCSD dated July 27, 2022 appointing Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Director General of the SBV Office, and Rapporteur of the SBV Party Personnel Board, to assume the position of Chief of the Office of the SBV Party Personnel Board. His office tenure is five (05) years, starting from August 1, 2022.
After that, the representative of the Human Resource Department also announced Decision No. 07/QD-BCSD dated July 27, 2022 appointing Mr. Chu Phuong Nam to be Deputy Chief of the Office of the SBV Party Personnel Board. His office tenure is five (05) years, starting from August 1, 2022. Mr. Chu Phuong Nam was previously Head of the General Affairs Division of the SBV Human Resource Department.

On behalf of the SBV Party Personnel Board, First Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu congratulated and handed over the Appointment Decisions to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan and Mr. Chu Phuong Nam.
Speaking at the ceremony, SBV Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu emphasized the importance of the Office of the SBV Party Personnel Board. This is an entity that directly assists the SBV Party Personnel Board in promptly and fully implementing the guidance and directions of the CPV’s Central Committee, the Politburo, and superior Party levels of the SBV Party Personnel Board. The SBV Deputy Governor also requested the Office to concentrate, specialize, and be more proactive in all tasks of the SBV Party Personnel Board; promptly advise and report to the SBV Party Personnel Board and the Secretary of the SBV Party Personnel Board on the implementation of the relevant Resolutions, policies, action plans,... of the Party; closely coordinate with the functional Departments and entities to develop appropriate programs and action plans for the SBV Party Personnel Board.
Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu expressed his beliefs that Mr. Tran Anh Tuan and Mr. Chu Phuong Nam would continue to develop their capabilities, wisdom, experience, and the sense of responsibility to accomplish the assigned tasks in their newly appointed positions.
In his statement, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, on behalf of the two newly appointed officials, expressed their deep gratitude to the SBV Party Personnel Board and the SBV’s Board of Management for their trust. He affirmed that the two newly appointed officials would try their best with the highest sense of responsibility to successfully accomplish the assigned tasks.
