On August 20, 2024, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce the SBV Governor’s Assignment and Re-Appointment Decisions of a number of leadership positions of the Banking Supervision Agency (BSA) and the BSA’s affiliated units.

The SBV Governor’s Decision assigning Mr. Lai Huu Phuoc as Deputy Chief Inspector in charge of the Banking Supervision Agency, starting from August 19, 2024.
The SBV Governor’s Decision assigning Mrs. Huynh Nhat Le as Deputy Director in charge of the Authority for Banking Inspection and Supervision I (Authority I) of the Banking Supervision Agency, starting from August 1, 2024.
The SBV Governor’s Decision reappointing Mr. Bui Van Hai as Deputy Director of the Authority for Safety Supervision of the Credit Institution System (Authority IV) of the Banking Supervision Agency.
The SBV Governor’s Decision reappointing Mr. Nguyen Quang Hai as Deputy Director of the Office of the Banking Supervision Agency.
The SBV Governor’s Decision reappointing Mr. Bui Anh Tuan as Deputy Director of the Office of the Banking Supervision Agency.

On behalf of the SBV Governor, Deputy Governor Pham Quang Dzung handed over the Assignment and Re-Appointment Decisions to and congratulated the officials of the Banking Supervision Agency. Deputy Governor Dzung believed that, with their capacity, high professional qualifications and extensive experience, the relevant officials and all of the Banking Supervision Agency’s staff and employees would continue to effectively accomplish all assigned tasks, in order to make great contributions towards the collective successes of the SBV in particular and the whole banking sector in general.
On behalf of the newly assigned and re-appointed officials of the Banking Supervision Agency, Mr. Lai Huu Phuoc, Deputy Chief Inspector in charge of the BSA, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV's Party Committee and the SBV’s Board of Management for their trust. He also promised that the newly assigned and re-appointed officials would make their best efforts, together with all of the leaders, staff and employees of the Banking Supervision Agency, in order to accomplish all assigned tasks.
