On February 25, 2025, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister’s Decision appointing Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh as Deputy Governor of the SBV. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh was previously Vice Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister has signed Decision No. 338/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025 appointing Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh as Deputy Governor of the SBV, starting from March 1, 2025.

At the ceremony, under the authorization by the Prime Minister, SBV Governor Nguyen Thi Hong handed over the Appointment Decision to and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh on his appointment.

- August 2020- February 2025: Vice Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises;
