On July 31, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) held a ceremony to announce personnel appointment decisions issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). Governor Pham Duc An attended the ceremony and delivered remarks.

At the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thu Huyen, Director General of the SBV Organization and Personnel Department, announced the SBV Governor’s appointment decisions. Accordingly, Mr. Pham Duc Tuan, Member of Agribank’s Board of Members, was appointed Head of the Supervisory Board of Agribank, while Mr. Le Van Xuat was appointed Deputy General Director of Agribank.

Presenting appointment decisions, SBV Governor Pham Duc An congratulated the newly appointed officials and emphasized that strengthening Agribank’s leadership team is particularly important as the banking sector continues to accelerate innovation, digital transformation, and improvements in corporate governance. He called on Agribank to continue fulfilling its role as the leading commercial bank serving agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, while further modernizing its governance, improving the quality of its human resources, strengthening risk management, and ensuring safe, sound, and efficient operations.

In his remarks, Mr. To Huy Vu expressed his appreciation to the SBV Board of Management for its trust and guidance. He also expressed his confidence that, with their experience, professional expertise, and strong sense of responsibility, the newly appointed officials would successfully fulfill their duties and make meaningful contributions to Agribank’s continued development.
