On May 20, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Ho Chi Minh City Branch issued Decision No. 436/QD-HCM revising the contributed capital substance in the License of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. – Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
Accordingly, the SBV – Ho Chi Minh City Branch has decided to revise the contributed capital substance of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. – Ho Chi Minh City Branch as prescribed in Article 1 of the License for the Operations of a foreign bank branch No. 09/NH-GP dated July 27, 1999 issued by the SBV Governor to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. – Ho Chi Minh City Branch, to read as follows “Contributed capital: 200,000,000 (Two hundred million United States dollars)”.
JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. – Ho Chi Minh City Branch is responsible for registering the newly revised contributed capital with the competent state authority; publicizing the above-mentioned change on the mass media in line with the regulations in Point b and Point c of Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions.
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and shall replace Decision No. 2186/QD-NHNN dated October 05, 2011, and forms an integral part of the License for the Operations of a foreign bank branch No. 09/NH-GP dated July 27, 1999 issued by the SBV Governor to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. – Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
