On August 23, 2021, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1343/QD-NHNN revising the charter capital substance in the License for the Establishment and Operations of Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited.
Accordingly, Article 3 of the License for the establishment and operations of a 100% foreign-owned bank No. 236/GP-NHNN dated September 8, 2008 issued by the SBV Governor to Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited has been revised, to read as follows:
The charter capital of Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited is VND 6,954,901,283,700 (Six thousand nine hundred fifty-four billion, nine hundred oh one million, two hundred eighty-three thousand, seven hundred Vietnamese Dongs), which is provided by Standard Chartered Bank.
Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited is responsible for implementing the procedures in line with Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented in 2017).
This Decision took effect from the date of signing, replaces Decision No. 302/QD-NHNN dated February 21, 2019 issued by the SBV, and is an integral part of the License for the establishment and operations of a 100% foreign-owned bank No. 236/GP-NHNN dated September 8, 2008 issued by the SBV Governor to Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited.
