On March 27, 2024, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 527/QD-NHNN revising the substance of the head office address in the License of Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited.
Accordingly, the SBV Governor has approved of the request of Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited to revise its head office address as stated in Paragraph 2 of Article 1 of the License for the establishment and operations of a 100% foreign-owned banks No. 106/GP-NHNN dated December 17, 2019, issued by the SBV Governor to Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited, to read as follows: “The head office address: 1st (ground floor), 2nd, 3rd, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd floors, The Mett Tower, Lot 1-13, The Metropole Thu Thiem Project, Thu Thiem New Urban Area, Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited is responsible for ensuring that its head office fulfills the conditions as stated in Points b and d of Paragraph 2, Article 26 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented), and Paragraph 2, Article 23 of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN dated December 15, 2011 issued by the SBV Governor on the licensing, the organization and the operations of a foreign commercial bank, a foreign bank branch, or a representative office of a foreign credit institution, or any other foreign institution with banking operations in Vietnam (as amended and supplemented) throughout its operations; implementing the procedures for registration and publication of the information in line with Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented).
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of the License for the establishment and operations of a 100% foreign-owned bank No. 106/GP-NHNN dated December 17, 2019, issued by the SBV Governor to Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited.
