The information shared by MPS has been a critical data source, assisting the policy formulation of the SBV, and ensuring the smooth, healthy, safe and effective banking operations.
Especially, during the implementation of the Scheme on developing applications of the population, the personal identification and the electronic authentication data in support of the National Digital Transformation in the 2022-2025 period, Vision to 2030 (Scheme 06), the MPS and the SBV had signed the Coordination Regulations on accelerating the implementation of the Scheme. Through the implementation of the Coordination Regulations for the implementation of Scheme 06, the banking sector has been able to verify the customers opening bank accounts and using banking services, enhancing the security and accelerating the digital transformation within the banking system.
