On January 10, 2023, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No. 151/NHNN-TTGSNH and Document No. 153/NHNN-TTGSNH approving of the requests of Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) to establish a number of additional branches and transaction offices.
Specifically, the SBV has approved of Eximbank's request to establish additionally four (04) branches, with details as follows:
1. Eximbank – Bac Ninh Branch, with the office address located at Ninh Xa Ward, Bac Ninh City, Bac Ninh Province.
2. Eximbank – Bac Giang Branch, with the office address located at Ngo Quyen Ward, Bac Giang City, Bac Giang Province.
3. Eximbank – Binh Dinh Branch, with the office address located at Le Hong Phong Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
4. Eximbank – Dong Thap Branch, with the office address located at Ward 2, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province.
In addtition, the SBV has also approved of Eximbank's request to establish additionally four (04) transaction offices, with details as follows:
1. Eximbank – Hue Branch – Huong Thuy Transaction Office, with the office address located at Phu Bai Ward, Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien - Hue Province.
2. Eximbank – Binh Phuoc Branch – Phuoc Binh Transaction Office, with the office address located at Phuoc Long Ward, Phuoc Long Town, Binh Phuoc Province.
3. Eximbank – Kien Giang Branch – Hon Dat Transaction Office, with the office address located at Hon Dat Town, Hon Dat District, Kien Giang Province.
4. Eximbank – Bac Lieu Branch – Gia Rai Transaction Office, with the office address located at Ho Phong Ward, Gia Rai Town, Bac Lieu Province.
Also in the Documents, Eximbank is requested to take responsibility for implementing the necessary procedures to inaugurate, register and publicize the newly established branches and transaction offices in line with Circular No. 21/2013/TT-NHNN dated September 09, 2013 issued by the SBV Governor stipulating the operational networks of commercial banks (as amended and supplemented by Circular No. 01/2022/TT-NHNN dated January 28, 2022), and the other applicable provisions of law.
The Documents will cease to be valid if Eximbank does not inaugurate the above-mentioned branches and transaction offices within 12 months from the date of their signing.
