On October 21, 2021, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1661/QD-NHNN revising the charter capital substance in the License for the Operations of the Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB).
Accordingly, the SBV has revised Paragraph 4 of the License for the Operations No. 0061/NH-GP dated April 13, 1996 issued by the SBV Governor to the OCB, and Paragraph c of Article 1, Decision No. 89/QD-NH5 dated April 13, 1996 issued by the SBV Governor issuing the License for the Operations of the OCB, to read as follows:
“The charter capital: VND 13,698,828,630,000 (Thirteen thousand six hundred ninety-eight billion, eight hundred twenty-eight million, six hundred thirty thousand Vietnamese Dongs).”
The OCB shall be responsible for implementing the applicable procedures in line with Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented in 2017) regarding the above revision.
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of Decision No. 89/QD-NH5 dated April 13, 1996, the License for the Operations No. 0061/NH-GP dated April 13, 1996 issued by the SBV Governor to the OCB. Decision No. 2120/QD-NHNN dated December 9, 2020 issued by the SBV revising the charter capital substance in the License for the Operations of the OCB is no longer valid from October 21, 2021.
