SBV announces Appointment Decisions of Deputy General Directors of Agribank

The meeting was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong, First Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central State-owned Enterprises’ Bloc; Mr. Dao Minh Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, First Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV); Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Board of Members of Agribank; Mr. Pham Toan Vuong, General Director of Agribank; etc.

At the meeting, Mr. Dang Duy Cuong, Deputy Director General of the SBV Organization and Personnel Department, announced the SBV Governor’s Decisions appointing Mrs. Phung Thi Binh, Mr. Hoang Minh Ngoc and Mr. Le Hong Phuc as Deputy General Directors of Agribank. Mrs. Phung Thi Binh was previously Head of the Department for Credit Appraisal and Approval of Agribank; Mr. Hoang Minh Ngoc was previously Director of Agribank – Gia Lam Branch; and Mr. Le Hong Phuc was previously Director of Agribank – Hai Duong Branch.

Speaking at the meeting, SBV First Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu expressed his wishes and beliefs that the newly appointed officials would continue to promote their capacity, qualifications and experience to accomplish the assigned tasks, in return for the trust of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, the SBV Governor, the Party Committee of the Central State-owned Enterprises’ Bloc, the Standing Body of the Party Committee of Agribank and the Board of Members of Agribank; especially in the current time with lots of fluctuations, difficulties, challenges to the economy in general and the banking sector in particular.

In his speech, Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Board of Members of Agribank expressed his wishes and beliefs that, the newly appointed officials, together with the Board of Management and the whole system of Agribank, would promote the solidarity and the determination within the Bank in order to overcome all difficulties and challenges to accomplish the assigned tasks; together with the entire banking sector to implement the solutions to remove the difficulties for the economy; continue to affirm Agribank’s position and role as one of the leading commercial banks in Vietnam, a key player in the financial market, especially for agriculture and rural development.

On behalf of the newly appointed officials, Mr. Le Hong Phuc expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Committee of the Central State-owned Enterprises’ Bloc, the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, and the Board of Management of Agribank for their trust. He affirmed that, together with all of the leaders, officials and employees of Agribank, he would never stop trying and learning in order to ensure the effective implementation and the accomplishment of the assigned tasks; overcome all challenges; promote the personal accountability; promote the good traditions and contribute to the stable development of Agribank.
