On April 19, 2024, The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Hanoi Branch issued Decision No. 283/QD.HAN-TTGS2 revising the License for the Establishment of a foreign bank branch issued to the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia - Hanoi branch.
Accordingly, the SBV Hanoi Branch has approved of a revision of the office address substance as written in Paragraph 2 of Article 2 of the License for the Establishment and Operations of a foreign bank branch No. 88/GP-NHNN dated April 22, 2011 issued by the SBV Governor to the BIDC - Hanoi branch, to read as follows: Transaction address of the foreign bank branch: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Foors, VietPhat Building, No. 2 Tran Hung Dao Street, Phan Chu Trinh Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City, Vietnam.
The BIDC - Hanoi branch is requested to take responsibilities for ensuring that the new office meets all of the conditions as stipulated in Paragraph 3 of Article 23 of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN dated December 15, 2011 issued by the SBV Governor on the licensing, organization and operations of commercial banks, foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign credit institutions and other foreign organizations with banking operations in Vietnam (as amended and supplemented in line with Paragraph 14, Article 1 of Circular No. 28/2018/TT-NHNN dated November 30, 2018); Carrying out the registration procedures, publicizing the change of its office address in accordance with Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented in 2017).
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of the License for the Establishment and Operations of a foreign bank branch No. 88/GP-NHNN dated April 22, 2011 issued by the SBV Governor to the BIDC - Hanoi branch.
