According to report of Credit Department of the SBV, by August 28, 2015, credit to the economy increased by 9.54% as compared to the end of 2015, much higher than that level of 4.33% of the same period of 2014. Credit flow continued focusing on priority fields in line with the Government’s instruction.
Accordingly, loan outstanding for agriculture and rural development of credit institutions (excluding the loan outstanding of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and Vietnam Development Bank) was estimated to reach VND 811,638 billion by the end of August, increasing by 9% in comparison with December 31, 2014.
By the end of June, 2015, credit for 4 priority fields was as follows: The outstanding loans for export reached VND 184,596 billion, increased by 4.99%; for high - tech enterprises, for industries, and for small and medium enterprises reached VND 25,614 billion, VND 110,620 billion, VND 976,729 billion with the increase by 29.12%, 3.2%, and 4.07% respectively as compared to 2014.
