The State Bank of Vietnam issued Documents No.9327, 9328, 9329, 9330, 9331, 9332, 9333, 9334/NHNN-TTGSNH to permit Shinhan Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. to establish two branches and six transaction offices.
Accordingly, the SBV Governor approved the establishment of the two branches of Shinhan Bank (Vietnam) Ltd., namely Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Le Thai To Branch on the 1st floor, 14 Le Thai To street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi; Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Saigon Branch on the ground floor, MPlaza Saigon, 39 Le Duan street, Ben Nghe ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, the SBV also permitted the establishment of six transaction offices of Shinhan Bank (Vietnam) Ltd., namely Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Saigon Branch – Tan Binh Transaction Office in HCMC, Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Saigon Branch – Tan Da Transaction Office in HCMC, Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Saigon Branch – South Saigon Transaction Office in HCMC, Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Saigon Branch – Pham Ngoc Thach Transaction Office in HCMC, Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Le Thai To Branch – Trung Hoa Transaction Office in Hanoi, and Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited – Le Thai To Branch – Cau Giay Transaction Office in Hanoi.
The SBV required Shinhan Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. to be responsible for implementing procedures of inaugurating, registering and publicizing newly established branches and transaction offices in accordance with Circular No. 21/2013/TT-NHNN dated September 9, 2013 of the SBV Governor on operational network of commercial banks and other applicable laws.
These Documents will cease to be effective if Shinhan Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. does not inaugurate those branches and transaction offices within 12 months from the date of signing on these Documents.
