The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No.2604/QD-NHNN on December 8th, 2017 amending the Foreign Bank Branch Operation License, regarding the relocation of Citibank, N.A – Hanoi Branch head office.

Accordingly, the SBV Governor approved the relocation of the head office of Citibank, N.A – Hanoi Branch from its former address: “No. 17 Ngo Quyen street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi city” to the new address “Ground floor, 11th floor, 12A and 12B floor, Horison building, No. 40 Cat Linh street, Cat Linh ward, Dong Da district, Hanoi city”.
At the same time, the Document also revised the content of the address for transactions of Citibank, N.A – Hanoi Branch, which is stated in Article I of License No.13/NH-GP issued by SBV Governor on December 19th, 1994, as follows: “Ground floor, 11th floor, 12A and 12B floor, Horison building, No. 40 Cat Linh street, Cat Linh ward, Dong Da district, Hanoi city”.
Citibank, N.A – Hanoi Branch is responsible for meeting all requirements in Paragraph 3, Article 23 of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN dated December 15th, 2011 on granting licenses to commercial banks, foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign banks, and other international institutions with banking operations in Vietnam; implementing procedures of registering, publicizing its new address in line with Paragraph 4, Article 29 of the Law on Credit Institutions.
This Decision took effect from the date of signing. This Decision shall replace Decision No.282/QD-NH5 dated October 4th, 1995 and is an integral part of the Foreign Bank Branch Operation License No.13/NH-GP dated December 19th, 1994 issued by the SBV Governor to Citibank, N.A – Hanoi Branch.
