The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 112/QD-NHNN dated January 19th, 2018 revising the charter capital related content in the Establishment and Operation License of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank).
Accordingly, the SBV Governor approved the amendment of the content at Point 4 License No.0040/NH-GP dated August 6th, 1993 granted to Techcombank and Paragraph c Article 1 Decision No. 143/QD-NH5 dated August 6th, 1993 on granting the Operation License for Techcombank as follows: “Charter capital: VND 11,655,307,200,000 (Eleven trillion, six hundred fifty five billion, three hundred seven million two hundred thousand Vietnam dongs)”.
Techcombank is responsible for implementing the procedures stipulated in Paragraph 3 Article 18b of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN issued by the SBV Governor on December 15th, 2011 regulating the licensing and organization and operation of commercial banks, branches of foreign banks, representative offices of foreign credit institutions or other foreign organizations engaging in banking activities in Vietnam (amended and supplemented by Circular No. 17/2017/TT-NHNN) with regard to the above-mentioned amendment.
This Decision takes effect from the signing date and is an integral part of License No.0040/NH-GP dated August 6th, 1993 granted to Techcombank and Decision No. 143/QD-NH5 dated August 6th, 1993 on granting the Operation License for Techcombank.
Decision No. 2634/QD-NHNN dated December 14th, 2017 on the amendment of the charter capital stated in the License of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) ceases to be effective from the date of signing this Decision.
