The Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is an event where the ADB member countries can meet annually to summarize the past year’s activities and to outline the operational directions for the coming years, as well as to adopt important policy resolutions for the ADB to match the new situations.
According to the original plan, this year’s Annual Meeting was scheduled to be held between May 2–5, 2020 in Incheon, the Republic of Korea. However, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ADB has turned to a reduced-scale Virtual Annual Meeting on September 17-18, 2020. The Meeting will include the Official Sessions and several side seminars/workshops. The Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors will be convened at 14:00 hrs (Manila time) on September 18, 2020. The leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) will participate in the Governor's Meeting on line from the SBV headquarters.
Regarding other open events, the participants from government agencies, commercial banks, financial institutions, trade partners, and relevant agencies can register to attend virtually via the website link at https://www.adb.org/annual-meeting/2020/main
