On January 13, 2021, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 20/QD-NHNN revising the License of HSBC (Vietnam) Limited.

Accordingly, the SBV Governor has approved of the modification of the head office address as written in Paragraph 2 of License No. 235/GP-NHNN dated September 8, 2008 issued by the SBV Governor to HSBC (Vietnam) Limited, to read as follows: “Head office address of HSBC (Vietnam) Limited: 1st, 2nd, 6th Floors, Metropolitan Building, 235 Dong Khoi, Ben Nghe ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
HSBC (Vietnam) Limited is responsible for ensuring full compliance with the requirements for the conditions of its head office in line with Paragraph 2, Article 23 of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN dated December 15, 2011 of the SBV Governor stipulating the licensing, organization and operations of commercial banks, foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign banks and international institutions with banking operations in Vietnam (as amended and supplemented in line with Paragraph 13, Article 1 of Circular No. 28/2018/TT-NHNN dated November 30, 2018); implementing the procedures of registering and publicizing its new head office address in accordance with Paragraph 4, Article 29 of Law No. 47/2010/QH12 on Credit Institutions dated June 16, 2010.
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of License No. 235/GP-NHNN dated September 8, 2008 issued by the SBV Governor to HSBC (Vietnam) Limited.
