On January 11, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No. 152/NHNN-TTGSNH allowing the Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) to establish additional branches.
Accordingly, SeABank is allowed to establish two (02) new branches in Ho Chi Minh City, specifically as follows: SeABank – Binh Chanh branch in Binh Chanh rural district; and SeABank – Thu Duc branch in Thu Duc municipal city.
Also in the above-mentioned Document, SeABank is required to take responsibility for implementing the procedures to inaugurate, register and publicize the newly established branches in line with the provisions of Circular No.21/2013/TT-NHNN dated September 9, 2013 on the operational networks of the commercial banks, as well as the other applicable legal texts.
The Document will cease to be valid if SeABank does not inaugurate the above-mentioned branches within 12 months from the date of its signing.
