SBV organizes Awarding Ceremony of Labor Medal Second Class and announces Appointment Decision of Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch

The ceremony was attended by SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung, Member of the Personnel Board of the SBV Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, First Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province; Mr. Le Duc Tien, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director General of the SBV Organization and Personnel Department; together with the key officials of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch, as well as representatives from the commercial banks present in Quang Tri province.

At the ceremony, as authorized by the State President, SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung handed over Decision No. 83/QD-CTN dated January 17, 2022 of the State President awarding the Labor Medal Second Class to Mr. Ho Sy Trong, former Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch. After that, SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung also announced and handed over the SBV Governor’s Decision No. 441/QD-NHNN on receiving and appointing Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong as Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch. Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong was previously Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies – Quang Tri branch. His office tenure is five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment.

SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung handed over the Appointment Decision to Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong, Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch.

Speaking at the ceremony, SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung congratulated Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong on his new appointment, and also requested the new Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch to immediately attend to his new job and perform effectively all duties and responsibilities as the head of the SBV provincial branch; actively study, get familiarized with the new position; continue to strive for, develop and improve his political will, professional qualifications and management capacity, coordinate with the Board of management of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch and the whole banking industry in the province to implement successfully all assigned political tasks; actively advise the SBV Governor in the administration and implementation of the monetary policy, the banking and foreign exchange operations, with a view to supporting the socio-economic development and construction in the province.

Also at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, First Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province, emphasized: Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong, the new Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch, is an official with fundamental training, extensive experience, good capabilities and reputation with many years working in the banking industry. The leaders of Quang Tri province believed that in the new position, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong would continue to promote his sense of responsibility to further develop the achievements and the good traditions of the banking industry over the past years, along with the party committee and other leaders of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch to successfully perform the assigned tasks.

Expressing deep gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV Party Committee and the SBV Board of Management for the trust through having accepted and appointed him to the position of Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong mentioned that this was a great honor to him, but also presented great responsibilities entrusted to him by the Personnel Board of the SBV Party Committee and the SBV Board of Management.

In addition, the new Director of the SBV Quang Tri provincial branch asserted that, in his new position, he would try his best with all the highest sense of responsibility, putting all of his wisdom and enthusiasm, together with all of the officials of the SBV Quang Tri branch, to successfully accomplish the assigned political tasks.
