In Decision No. 312/QD.HAN-TTGS2 dated June 07, 2022, the Director of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Hanoi City Branch has decided to revoke the License for the Establishment of UniCredit Bank AG - Representative Office in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the Direct of the SBV – Hanoi City Branch has decided to revoke the relevant Licenses for the Establishment of a representative office of a foreign credit institution in Vietnam (License No. 51/NH-GP dated November 24, 1995; License No. 382/1998/NH-GPVP dated November 14, 1998; License No. 28/GP-VPDD dated September 21, 2001) issued by the SBV Governor to Bayerisch Vereinsbank AG (currently UniCredit Bank AG). This Decision took effect from the date of its signing.
UniCredit Bank AG - Representative Office in Hanoi is responsible for conducting the procedures for the liquidation of its office leasing agreement; clearing all remaining liabilities (if any) with the relevant individuals and organizations; conducting the procedures for the termination and closure of the office; returning its original Registration Certificate and the seal to the competent authority in accordance with the law (the provisions in Paragraph 1, Article 18 of Circular No. 24/2017/TT-NHNN dated December 29, 2017, as amended and supplemented by Circular No. 11/2020/TT-NHNN dated November 02, 2020 of the SBV).
In addition, UniCredit Bank AG - Representative Office in Hanoi is also requested to publicize this Decision as required by Paragraph 2, Article 20 of Circular No. 24/2017/TT-NHNN dated December 29, 2017.
