On October 25, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1816/QD-NHNN revising the office address substance in the License for the establishment of a foreign bank branch issued to the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. – Hanoi branch.
Accordingly, the SBV Governor has decided to revise the office address substance as stated in Paragraph 2 of Article 1 of the License for the establishment of a foreign bank branch No. 55/GP-NHNN dated February 20, 2013 issued to the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. – Hanoi branch, to read as follows: “2. The office address: 10th Floor, Tower 1, Capital Place Building, No.9 Lieu Giai street, Ngoc Khanh ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi, Vietnam.”
The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. – Hanoi branch is responsible for ensuring that the conditions of its office meet the requirements as prescribed for in Paragraph 3, Article 23 of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN dated December 15, 2011 stipulating the licensing, the organization and operations of commercial banks, foreign bank branches and representative offices of foreign credit institutions and other institutions with banking operations in Vietnam (as amended and supplemented).
In addition, the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. – Hanoi branch shall be responsible for implementing the procedures of registering and publicizing the revised substance in its License in line with the regulations as stipulated in Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of Law No. 47/2010/QH12 dated June 16, 2010 on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented).
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of the License for the establishment of a foreign bank branch No. 55/GP-NHNN dated February 20, 2013 issued by the SBV Governor to the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. – Hanoi branch.
