On December 02, 2022, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Assignment Decision of Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Banking Times.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dao Minh Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, First Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV); together with representatives of the Central Bank Party Committee, the Central Bank’s Trade Union, the Organization and Personnel Department, the SBV Office and the key officers of the Banking Times.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director General of the SBV Organization and Personnel Department, announced the Decision of the SBV Governor assigning Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai as Deputy Editor-in-chief in charge of the Banking Times under the SBV, starting from December 01, 2022.
SBV First Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu handed over the Assignment Decision to and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai on this new assignment, which reflected the trust of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee as well as the SBV’s Board of Management. The SBV Deputy Governor mentioned that, information and communication is now an important task of the Government and the Government agencies; and as a newspaper of the banking sector, the Banking Times has the responsibility to inform and communicate the public in a quick, accurate, and positive manner. The SBV Deputy Governor expressed his wishes that, on the newly assigned position, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai would successfully fulfill his role as a senior manager and leader at the Banking Times.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai expressed his deep gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee and the SBV’s Board of Management for their trust. He asserted that this was both an honor and a challenge, with a lot of responsibilities to him. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai also affirmed that he would put his best capabilities and mind, together with all of the officers and staff of the Banking Times, into promoting the solidarity of the newspaper and accomplishing the assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the Banking Times.
