SBV announces Appointment Decisions of Deputy Directors General of Communication Department

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dao Minh Tu, First Deputy Governor; Ms. Le Thi Mai Huong, First Deputy Secretary of the Central Bank’s Party Committee; representatives of the Human Resource Department, and all of the officials and staff of the Communication Department, as well as the leaders of the Deposit Insurance of Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Hung, Deputy Director General of the Human Resource Department, announced the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decisions, including: Decision No. 1486/QD-NHNN dated July 15, 2024 appointing Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quyet as Deputy Director General of the Communication Department; Decision No. 1488/QD-NHNN dated July 15, 2024 appointing Mr. Mai Viet Trung as Deputy Director General of the Communication Department. Both Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quyet’s and Mr. Mai Viet Trung’s terms of office are five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment. These Appointment Decisions take effect from the date of signing.

On behalf of the SBV Governor, First Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu handed over the Appointment Decisions to and congratulated the two new Deputy Directors General on their appointments, which reflected the trust of the SBV’s Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee. Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu also expressed his beliefs that on their new positions, the two Deputy Directors General would uphold their capabilities to successfully accomplish the assigned tasks.

In the coming time, the SBV Deputy Governor requested that the Communication Department should continue to promote the past achievements and focus on implementing the key tasks, such as continuing to implement effectively the communication programs according to the established plans, advising the SBV Governor and the SBV Board of Management to effectively implement communication activities of the banking sector.

In his statement, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quyet expressed his honor to receive the trust of the SBV’s Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee. With more than 20 years’ experience in the communication and journalism sector, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quyet promised to do his best, develop his capabilities, together with all of the officials and staff of the Communication Department, in order to contribute to the development of the SBV in general and the Communication Department in particular.

For his part, Mr. Mai Viet Trung also expressed his honor to receive the trust of the SBV’s Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee. In the new position, Mr. Mai Viet Trung promised to do his best, together with all of the officials and staff of the Communication Department, to successfully accomplish the assigned tasks.
