Deputy Governor Nguyen Phuoc Thanh meets with Head of International Asia-Pacific at HSBC

Deputy Governor Nguyen Phuoc Thanh of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) had a meeting with Mr. Jayant Rikhye, Head of International Asia-Pacific at HSBC, in Hanoi on May 19.

At the meeting, Deputy Governor Nguyen Phuoc Thanh highly appreciated operational results and the compliance with laws of the HSBC in Vietnam. He expressed his hope that HSBC would develop sustainably and contribute to Vietnam’s socio-economic development. He asserted the SBV would continue to facilitate credit institutions to effectively operate in Vietnam.

For his part, Mr. Jayant Rikhye expressed his sincere thanks to the SBV for supporting HSBC’s operations in Vietnam. He also briefed the host of operational situations of the HSBC as well as its development plan in the coming time. He committed that HSBC would continue operating positively and strictly complying with Vietnam laws.
