On February 26, 2026, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Director General of the International Cooperation Department.

The ceremony was attended by SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh, representatives from the SBV entities, and all of the officials of the International Cooperation Department.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Hung, Deputy Director General of the SBV Human Resource Department, announced the SBV Governor’s Decision appointing Ms. Vu Minh Chau as Director General of the International Cooperation Department. Ms. Vu Minh Chau was previously Acting Director General of the International Cooperation Department.

SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh handed over the Governor’s Appointment Decision to and congratulated Ms. Vu Minh Chau on her new appointment. The SBV Deputy Governor expressed his beliefs that Ms. Vu Minh Chau would continue to develop her capabilities, wisdom, experience, and her sense of responsibility to accomplish the assigned tasks in the newly appointed position.
