On October 30, 2026, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Chairman of the Board of Members of the National Banknote Printing Plant. Governor Pham Duc An attended the ceremony and personally handed over the Appointment Decision.
At the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thu Huyen, Director General of the SBV Organization and Personnel Department, announced Decision No. 2368/QD-NHNN appointing Mr. Do Giang Nam as Chairman of the Board of Members of the National Banknote Printing Plant. His term of office is 5 years, starting from October 30, 2026. Mr. Do Giang Nam previously served as Member in charge of the Board of Members of the National Banknote Printing Plant.
At the same time, according to Decision No. 82-QD/DUNN of the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam, Mr. Do Giang Nam, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the National Banknote Printing Plant, has been assigned as the Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Banknote Printing Plant for the 2025-2030 period.

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Pham Duc An congratulated Mr. Do Giang Nam on his appointment and expressed his confidence that Mr. Do Giang Nam would continue to leverage his capabilities, experience, and his sense of responsibility, to accomplish the assigned tasks in his newly appointed position.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Do Giang Nam promised to do his best to contribute to the development of both the SBV and the banking sector.
