On July 21, 2026, in An Giang province, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce the SBV Governor’s decision appointing Mr. Tran Van Phuoc as Director of the SBV Regional Branch No. 15. SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh attended and presented the Decision to Mr. Tran Van Phuoc at the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of An Giang and Ca Mau provinces; representatives of several credit institutions operating in the region; and all officials and staff of the SBV Regional Branch No. 15.
At the ceremony, a representative from the SBV Organization and Personnel Department announced the SBV Governor’s Decision appointing Mr. Tran Van Phuoc as Director of the SBV Regional Branch No. 15, starting from July 15, 2026. Mr. Tran Van Phuoc was previously Acting Director of the SBV Regional Branch No.15.

Delivering his remarks at the ceremony, SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh congratulated Mr. Tran Van Phuoc on his new position, which reflected the recognition and trust of the SBV Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV Party Committee in his capacity. The Deputy Governor acknowledged Mr. Tran Van Phuoc's contributions over the past time and expressed his hope that Mr. Tran Van Phuoc would continue uphold his sense of responsibility, together with the officials and staff of the SBV Regional Branch No. 15, to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to the effective implementation of monetary policy, ensuring safe and sound banking operations, and support the regional socio-economic development.
In his remarks, Mr. Tran Van Phuoc expressed his sincere gratitude to the SBV Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV Party Committee for their trust placed in his capacity. Mr. Tran Van Phuoc expressed his commitment to uphold his sense of responsibility and foster solidarity, together with officials and staff of the SBV Regional Branch No.15, to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the banking sector and the socio-economic development of the locality.
