The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No.2001/QD-NHNN on September 25th, 2017 on revoking License to open representative office of KEB Bank in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to this Decision, SBV revoked the License No.06/GP-VPDD dated July 24, 2002 issued by SBV Governor to Korea Exchange Bank (now known as KEB Hana Bank) in Ho Chi Minh City.
Within a maximum period of 05 working days from the date of receipt the SBV Governor's Decision revoking the license, KEB Hana Bank is responsible for implementing all procedures of terminating operations of Ho Chi Minh Representative Office; especially, KEB Hana Bank must return the Operation Registration Certificate, return the seal or liquidate the office leasing contract and pay other obligations or debts (if any) to related individuals and organizations according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.
KEB Hana Bank – Ho Chi Minh Representative Office must publicize the Decision on revoking License within 7 working days from the effective date of this Decision.
The Decision No.2001/QD-NHNN took effect on the date of signing.
