On April 28, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No. 2848/NHNN-TTGSNH approving the 2021 Plan on network development of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam (VCB).
Accordingly, the SBV Governor has approved of the VCB's request to establish additionally five (05) branches, with details as follows:
1. VCB – East Hanoi Branch in Hanoi City
Abbreviated name: VCB East Hanoi; Address: No. 141 Ngo Xuan Quang, Trau Quy Town, Gia Lam District, Hanoi City.
2. VCB – West Bac Giang Branch in Bac Giang Province
Abbreviated name: VCB West Bac Giang; Address: Telecommunications Quarter of Dinh Tram Industrial Park, Hoang Ninh and Hong Thai Communes, Viet Yen District, Bac Giang Province.
3. VCB – North Thanh Hoa Branch in Thanh Hoa Province
Abbreviated name: VCB North Thanh Hoa; Address: No. 30 Cao Thang, Le Loi Avenue, Lam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa Province.
4. VCB – West Long An Branch in Long An Province

The VCB is requested to take responsibility for implementing the necessary procedures to inaugurate, register and publicize the newly established branches and transaction offices in line with Circular No. 21/2013/TT-NHNN dated September 09, 2013 issued by the SBV Governor on the operational networks of commercial banks (as amended and supplemented by Circular No. 01/2022/TT-NHNN dated January 28, 2022), and the other applicable provisions of law.
The Document will cease to be valid if the VCB does not inaugurate the above-mentioned branches and transaction offices within 12 months from the date of its signing.
