On June 30, 2022, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Deputy General Director of the National Credit Information Centre of Vietnam (CIC).

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Tien Dzung, SBV Deputy Governor, together with representatives of the Central Bank Party Committee, the Organization and Personnel Department, as well as the Board of Management and the key officials of the CIC.
At the ceremony, Mr. Dang Duy Cuong, Deputy Director General of the Organization and Personnel Department, announced Decision No. 1065/QD-NHNN dated June 24, 2022 of the SBV Governor appointing Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang as Deputy General Director of the CIC, starting from July 01, 2022. Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang was previously Head of the Management Information Division under the CIC.

On behalf of the SBV Governor, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung handed over the Appointment Decision to and congratulated Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang on her new appointment, which reflected the trust of the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee as well as the SBV’s Board of Management for Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang’s qualities. The SBV Deputy Governor accreted that, over the past years, the CIC has played an increasingly important role, not only providing credit information, but also providing input consultancy for the management and decision-making process of the SBV. Additionally, the CIC also has an important role in providing information to the relevant functional entities under the SBV. The SBV Deputy Governor expressed his wishes and beliefs that, on the new position, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang would promote the spirit of solidarity, stand side by side with the other members of the CIC’s Board of Management and all of the officers and staff of the CIC to accomplish the assigned tasks, develop appropriate development orientations for the CIC, meeting the expectations and requirements in the new context.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang expressed her deep gratitude to the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, the SBV’s Board of Management and the CIC’s officers and staff for their trust. She affirmed that she would do her best with the highest sense of responsibility to maintain and promote the CIC’s good solidarity traditions, together with the CIC’s Board of Management, officers and staff to accomplish the assigned tasks.
